When i ask a religious question…lot of people quote spiritual books….why?
I was simply asking for your personal opinion and not whats written in the scriptures. Expressing personal opinion is very important in a free society. Why are many still bound and blinded by whats written in the books? So does religious book and belief in God make one limited, so much that he/she has to present his/her answers by quoting text from scriptures? Whats the idea behind this?
I have seen people copying and pasting three or four pages of answers from spiritual books but when someone give summary in two lines no one even try to read it .

Well, if you are hunting for them in Barnes and Nobles or Borders, check out the Spirituality shelf. Occasionally, the big book stores put his works in general fiction, too. I’ve only read The Alchemist so I can’t really have a favorite Coelho book.

Is there any form of meditation that does not involve any sort of spirituality?
I’ve browsed a few books and a few things online about meditation, but most if not all of them in one form or another involve spirituality. For example, one source said to burn incense but not to look too long at it because the burning would taint your soul or something like that.
Do you have any suggestions about where I can look into meditation tips that focus relieving stress and increasing focus in a practical fashion as opposed to a spiritual one?

Buddhist spirituality doesn’t involve supernaturals, rather striving to cultivate good behavior within yourself.
In breathing meditation, you pay attention to your natural breathing in and out. After a while, you go in to a zone with only your attention to that and nothing else. It keeps you relaxed while doing it and bit afterwords too. To relieve stress completely, you need to train yourself how to identify your emotions and deal with them as they arise.

When my mother became pregnant for the third time she did that her husband wanted, she had an illegal abortion. Not long after, my mother was pregnant again, me. I guess you can try this method, however, spiritual healing comes from you when you invite. It requires no books or lessons or structure of any kind. It is about doing her being sensitive and responsive. You humbly ask God (God implied) to enter your life and cure you of everything we have is of concern. That is all that is needed. I asked God to help me quit smoking there are eighteen years of alcohol and he did it alone. Spiritual healing is the night. Because I meant what asked to do so with all my heart because it was the end of my mind and half dead with fear of what alcohol has done for me and my life at that time.
