Using Energy for Spiritual Healing – A Holistic Approach to Clear Pain and Suffering

How many of you have gotten sick when your doctor’s office was closed? Do you not agree that many times our bodies need attention either late at night, on the weekend, or during a vacation—all times when your doctor may be off-call? When a doctor is not easily available, is there an effective and easy way to ease your pain? Could it be that using the energy within you is helpful for spiritual healing? Might a holistic approach be beneficial to clear pain and suffering?

Although I do not advocate ignoring the expertise and advice of a medical physician, I have found that working a holistic approach can enhance the benefits of a medical doctor. It has been my observation that for minor, non life-threatening afflictions, I have been able to reduce my pain significantly by adding a holistic method to clear pain and suffering. Using energy for spiritual healing can indeed be very beneficial.

Whenever I have pain in my body, I immediately go into meditation, listening to any messages from my spirit. Sometimes my spirit instructs me to call the doctor immediately, regardless of the hour of the day or night. However, other times I realize that I have the ability to improve my pain level and amount of suffering all by myself.

How, you might ask, do I accomplish this task? I use a simple process of flooding my body with light. Yes, I visualize a beam of light entering my body. As I do so, I direct the light towards the part of my body that is giving me pain. I picture the pain leaving my body and the cells repairing themselves. This simple process has been effective in alleviating my pain.

I invite you to work this same process the next time you are having pain—use the energy within for your spiritual healing. After all, light is energy—the same energy of God and the universe, invisible in the physical realm, but available to all. A holistic approach to clear pain and suffering can be very effective. It is easy and it does not cost you money—only a small investment of time. Sometimes the easiest methods can prove the most beneficial. Why not allow the spirit of God to work His magic within you.

Shaktipat……means and by whom?

Shaktipat or Shaktinipata is a Sanskrit word that refers to the act of a guru or spiritual teacher conferring a form of spiritual “power” or awakening on a disciple/student. “Shakti” translates as energy and “pat” as touch. Shaktipat can be carried out by the spiritually enlightened master either by transmission of sacred word or mantra, a look, a thought or by touch. The touch is usually given to the ajna chakra or third eye of the disciple. this type of meditation is given very rarely. if you find guru like this then never leave him just follow him by full devotion.

Sacred Elements of Hinduism

Sacred elements of Hinduism{spiritualityinformation.in}

The sacred elements of hinduism constitutes Hindu religious traditions, and their sublime meanings. It would be very difficult to completely list all the sacred elements of hinduism that make up the Hindu religious traditions because of the sheer vastness and depth of the Hindu culture and traditions that have evolved through thousands of years. Some of the sacred elements of the Hinduism religion are mentioned below.

Meaning of hinduism

Hinduism is referred to as Sanatana Dharma, the eternal faith. Hinduism is not strictly a religion. It is based on the practice of Dharma, the code of life.

Since Hinduism has no founder, anyone who practices Dharma can call himself a Hindu. He can question the authority of any scripture, or even the existence of the Divine. While religion means to bind, Dharma means to hold. What man holds on to is his inner law, which leads from ignorance to Truth. Though reading of the scriptures (Shastras)or vedas would not directly lead you to self-realization, the teachings of the seers provide a basis and a path for spirituality. Despite being the oldest religion, the truth realized by the seers proves that the Truth and path provided by the meaning of Hinduism is beyond time.

Main Characteristics and features of hinduism

• “Hindu”- ancient Persian term translating a Greek term (Indos) that translated the Sanskrit name for the Indus River – “Sindhu”. “

Hinduism” was applied to the religion

• The name was applied to the people

• Hindus themselves use the term “dharma” – duty for their religion

• Jainism & Buddhism came from Hinduism as reforms

History or origin for Hinduism

The Brief History or origin for hinduism can be explained by the following steps:

• Advanced civilization began to flourish in Indus River Valley ca 2500 BC (Abraham, ca 1800)

– Drainage systems, from houses to brick sewers

– Brick houses, several stories high

– Large city baths

– Well planned streets

– Irrigation ditches

Timeline

• Pre-Aryan to 1500 BCE

• Brahmanism to 450 BCE

– Vedas/ Upanishads

• Classical period to 600 CE

– Bhagavad Gita

• Medieval period to 1600 CE

• Modern period 1600 -

• Ca. 1500 the Aryans invaded (a fair-skinned people); “Aryans” – “the noble ones”

• Primarily shepherds

• Many Dravidians migrated south, which the Aryans never controlled

• Aryans considered the Dravidians inferior to them; established social barriers

• Beginnings of caste system

• Later the caste system became part of Hinduism

• Four Castes: (varnas)

– Brahmins – the priests and scholars

– Kshatriyas – rulers and warriors

– Vaishyas – merchants and professionals

– Shudras – laborers and servants

• Thousands of sub-castes, each has its own set of rules

• Every individual knows where they stand and how they are expected to act (duty)

• The “untouchables” existed outside the caste system for centuries

• The Indian constitution of 1950 outlawed untouchability and gave the group full citizenship

• Mohandas Gandhi (d. 1940) was influential in the struggle for this right

• The caste system has weakened some, but still very strong

The Aryans – “Noble Folk”

• Invaded from NW – dominated North & Central India

• The religion of the Aryans combined with the religion of the people of India (Dasyu) resulted in:

– Hinduism

– Jainism

– Buddhism

Beliefs for hinduism

• The Vedas – “Knowledge” – the Hindu scriptures

• Belief in one, all-pervasive supreme “being” who is both immanent and transcendent – represented by many gods

• The universe goes through endless cycles of creation

• Karma – the law of cause and effect by which each individual creates his own destiny by his thoughts, words, and actions

• The soul reincarnates, evolving through many births until one “gets it right”

• Moksha – spiritual knowledge and release from the cycle of rebirth

• Divine beings exist in invisible universes and worship, ritual, sacraments creates a union with these gods

• Ahimsa – all life is sacred

• No particular religion teaches the only way to salvation

• No particular founder

Introduction to sacred elements of Hinduism.

Hindu Scriptures

The Hindu scriptures, written over a period of 2,000 years (1400 B.C-.500 A.D.) are voluminous. They reflect the practices and beliefs for hinduism which arose during the different long periods of Hindu history.

The Hindu scriptures are divided into two classes -sruti and smriti. Sruti, or “what is heard,” refers to the eternal truths of religion which the rishis or seers saw or heard. They are independent of any god or man to whom they are communicated. They are the primary and final authority of religious truth. Using the analogy of the reflection of an image in a mirror or on the surface of a lake, the intellect of the ancient rishis was so pure and calm that it perfectly reflected the entirety of eternal truth. Their disciples recorded this truth and the record of it is known as the vedas.

Smriti, or “what is remembered,” possess a secondary authority, deriving their authority from the sruti whose principles they seek to expand. As recollections they contain all the sacred texts other than the vedas. These are generally understood to include the law books, the two great epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, and the Puranas, which are largely collections of myths, stories, legends and chronicles of great events.

Also included are the aqamas, which are theological treatises and manuals of worship, and the sultras, or aphorisms, of the six systems of philosophy. There is also a vast treasury of vernacular literature largely of a bhakti or devotional type, which continues to inspire the masses of religious Hindus and which different sects accept as smriti

The Vedas

the Vedas form as the basis for sacred element of hinduism. The word veda literally means wisdom or knowledge. It is the term applied to the oldest of the Hindu scriptures, originally transmitted orally and then subsequently preserved in written form. The vedas contain hymns, prayers and ritual texts composed over a period of one thousand years, beginning about 1400 B.C.

The term vedas (plural) refers to the entire collection of these wisdom books, also known as the samhitas, which include the rig-veda, the samaveda, the yajur-veda and the athara-veda. Each of these texts consists of three parts: (1) the mantras, hymns of praise to the gods; (2) the brahmanas, a guide for practicing ritual rights, and (3) the upanishads, the most important part of which deals with teachings on religious truth or doctrine.

The samhitas are the basis of vedic Hinduism, the most significant of the group being the rig-veda. This collection of hymns, originally composed in Sanskrit, praises the various Hindu deities, including Indra, Soma, Varuna and Mitra.

The yajur-veda consists of a collection of mantras borrowed from the rig-veda and applied to specific ritual situations carried out by the executive priest and his assistants.

The sama-veda in the same manner borrows mantras from the rig-veda. These hymns are chanted.

The athara-veda consists of magical spells and incantations carried out by the priests.

The Upanishads

the Upanishads form an important sacred element of hinduism. The upanishads are a collection of speculative treatises. They were composed during the period 800 to 600 B.C., and 108 of them are still in existence. The word upanishad conveys the idea of secret teaching. Its treatises mark a definite change in emphasis from the sacrificial hymns and magic formulas in the vedas to the mystical ideas about man and the universe, specifically the eternal Brahman, which is the basis of all reality, and the atman, which is the self or the soul. The upanishads reportedly had an influence upon Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, as can be observed in some basic similarities between the upanishads and the teachings of Mahayana Buddhism.

Evidence that Hinduism must have existed even circa 10000 B.C. is available: The importance attached to the river Saraswati and the numerous references to it in the Rig-Veda (interestingly, Ganga appears only twice) indicates that the Rig-Veda was being composed well before 6500 B.C. The first vernal equinox recorded in the Rig-Veda is that of the star Ashwini, which is now known to have occurred around 10000 to substantiate this claim.

Unity Within Diversity

There are five sacred elements of hinduism, which contribute to the essential unity of Hinduism:

1) Common Ideals

2) Common Scriptures

3) Common Deities

4) Common Beliefs

5) Common Practices

Common Ideals

All the sects and offshoots of Hinduism beliefs share the same moral ideals:

· Ahimsa (non-violence)

· Satya (truthfulness)

· Brahmacharya (often translated wrongly as sexual continence, it actually means the state of incessant search for the ultimate Truth (Brahman). Note that it is not called God, merely the Truth, whatever it is)

· Maitri (Friendship)

· Dharma (a rather crude translation would be “fulfilling one’s duty”)

· KaruNa (Compassion)

· Viirya (Fortitude)

· Dama (Self Restraint – mental as well as physical)

· Shaucha (Purity – mental as well as physical)

The higher phase of self-control is detachment. Not only do we have to overcome what is evil in life, we must also become independent of what is good. For instance, our love of home and friends is good in itself, but unless we expand it to include everything in the universe, it will be a shackle, what if it is golden. Detachment does not imply disinterest in the changing world: it merely shifts a person’s frame of reference to the Reality that endures forever, making his perception more objective, making him better equipped for life.

Truth as a cardinal virtue in Hinduism is far more than mere truthfulness; it means eternal reality. Hinduism says that the pursuit of Truth, wherever it may lead or whatever sacrifices it may involve, is indispensable to the progress of man. Hence no Hindu scripture has ever opposed scientific progress or metaphysical and ethical speculations.

Main Deities

The common deities are derived form the common scriptures. The idea that every deity whom men worship is the embodiment of a limited ideal, and that the deity is a symbol of some aspects of the Absolute is one of the most fundamental elements of Hinduism. It is this idea that makes Hinduism the most tolerant of religions and averse to proselytization through religious propaganda.

The three important functions of the Supreme – Creation, Protection and Destruction – came to be established in popular imagination as the Hindu Trinity – Brahma (NOT Brahman of the Upanishads), Vishnu and Shiva. The power associated with these gods came to be personified as their respective consorts. So Creator Brahma’s consort is Saraswati (the goddess of Speech and Learning), Protector Vishnu’s consort is Lakshmi (the goddess of wealth and prosperity), and Shiva’s consort is Shakti (the goddess of power). Since Vishnu is the protector, he is the one who can take on an avatara, taking human form whenever the world order is disturbed by a colossal form of evil. The other two of the trinity do not have avatars.

Thus the law of spiritual progression is given as an unerring standard for us. It decrees the following values as of utmost importance:

· Spiritual Values: truth, beauty, love, and righteousness.

· Intellectual Values: clarity, cogency, subtlety, and skill.

· Biological Values: health, strength, and vitality.

· Material Values: riches, possessions, and pleasures.

This, then, is the key to understanding beliefs for Hinduism. For example, consider the Hindu view of History. Although it does not attach any importance to chronology, the sages had a correct view of historical progress and decline. Persons and wars were seen to be of less importance when compared with roles (played by the persons) and the lessons (of the war). The greatness of a civilization was judged not by the empires they possessed, nor by the wealth they accumulated, nor by their technological progress, but by the righteousness and justice did they cultivate.

The organization of the society was conceived as a corollary of the law of spiritual progress, whereby people were to be ranked not by wealth, numerical strength, or power, but by their spiritual progress and culture. The earliest reference to the Varnashrama Dharma, the caste system, is to be found in the Rig-Veda, wherein they are represented as parts of the body of the Creator. This is a poetic image indicating the organic nature of the society of the time. Caste was not to be determined by heredity: Virtue alone was the yardstick (Vajra Suuchika Upanishad is entirely devoted to discussing the Caste System;

Many Hindu religious leaders has pointed out the common features of hinduism which are as follows:

1) Belief in one supreme God of Love and Grace.

2) Belief in the individuality of every soul, which is nevertheless part of the Divine Soul.

3) Belief in salvation through Bhakti.

4) The exaltation of Bhakti above Jnana and Karma; and, also above, the performance of rites and ceremonies.

5) Extreme reverence paid to the Guru.

6) The doctrine of the Holy Name.

7) Initiation through a mantra and a sacramental meal.
8) The institution of sectarian orders of Sanyasins.

9) The relaxing of the rules of caste, sometimes even ignoring all caste distinctions.

10) Religious teaching through the vernaculars.

Ramayana

the Ramayana is one of the two major epic tales of India, the other being the Mahabharata. Authorship is ascribed to the sage-poet Valmiki. The work consists of 24,000 couplets based upon the life of Rama, a righteous king who was supposedly an incarnation of the god Vishnu. Although the story has some basis in fact, much of it is layered folklore added throughout the centuries. Besides Valmiki, other poets and writers have contributed to the complexities of the story.:

Rama, a warrior and wanderer in the great tradition (one might equate him to Gilgamesh and Odysseus), is faced with a series of challenges and tests, some of which involve battles with other kings, or with demons; his wife Sita is kidnapped by a demon king and carried off in an air chariot to Ceylon; his chastity and faithfulness are tested; great battles ensue; the ending is a happy one, with Rama restored to the throne of Ayodha, and eventually he and Sita, after more trials, are united, not on earth but in the celestial abodes.

The Mahabharata

The Mahabharata is the second epic, an immense story of the deeds of Aryan clans. It consists of some 100,000 verses and was composed over an 800-year period beginning about 400 years B.C. Contained within this work is a great classic, the Bhagavad Gita, or the “Song of the Blessed Lord.”

Bagavad Gita

This work is not only the most sacred book of the Hindus, it is also the best known and most read of all Indian works in the entire world, despite the fact it was added late to the Mahabbarata, sometime in the first century A.D. The story, in short, consists of a dialogue between Krishna, the eighth Avatar of Vishnu, and the warrior Arjuna, who is about to fight his cousins.

These two epic stories, the Ramayana and the Mahabbarata, depict characters who have become ideals for the people of India in terms of moral and social behavior.these two epics also form part of sacred elements of hinduism.

The Puranas

The Puranas are a very important source for the understanding of Hinduism. They include legends of gods, goddesses, demons and ancestors. They describe pilgrimages and rituals to demonstrate the importance of bhakti, caste and dharma. This collection of myths and legends, in which the heroes display all the desirable virtues, has made a significant contribution to the formation of Hindu moral codes.

Hindu Teachings (Doctrine)

To achieve a proper understanding of the world view held by the Hindus, it is necessary to present some of the basic sacred elements of hinduism they hold to be true.

Brahman

Brahman, the ultimate reality for the Hindu, is a term difficult if not impossible to define completely, for its meaning has changed over a period of time.

Moksha

Moksha, also known as mukti, is the Hindu term used for the liberation of the soul from the wheel of karma. For the Hindu, the chief aim of his existence is to be freed from sarnsara (the binding life cycle) and the wheel of karma with its endless cycle of births, deaths and rebirths. When one achieves this liberation, he enters into a state of fullness or completion. This state can be attained through death or preferably while one is still living.

Moksha can be achieved through three paths: (1) knowledge, or inana; (2) devotion, or bhakti, or (3) ritual works, or karma. One who achieves moksha before death is known as jivanmukta.

Atman

Atman is another Hindu term which is difficult to define. it refers to the soul or true self, the part of each living thing that is eternal. The Taittiriya Upanishad says atman is “that from which speech, along with the mind, turns away-not able to comprehend.” Oftentimes, it is used synonymously with Brahman, the universal soul, seeking mystical union together, or moksha.

Maya

A central concept in Hindu thought is that of maya.

This word is often translated “illusion,” but this is misleading. For one thing it suggests that the world need not be taken seriously. This the Hindu would deny, pointing out that as long as it appears real and demanding to us we must accept it as such. Moreover, it does have a kind of qualified reality; reality on a provisional level.

Were we to be asked if dreams are real, our answer would have to be qualified. They are real in the sense that we have them, but they are not real in the sense that the things they depict necessarily exist in their own right. Strictly speaking, a dream is a psychological construct, something created by the mind out of its particular state. When the Hindus say the world is maya, this too, is what they mean. Given the human mind in its normal condition, the world appears as we see it. But we have no right to infer from this that reality is in itself the way it so appears.

Karma

The word karma literally means action and has reference to a person’s actions and the consequences thereof. In Hinduism, one’s present state of existence is determined by his performance in previous lifetimes. The law of karma is the law of moral consequence or the effect of any action upon the performer in a past, a present or even a future existence. As one performs righteous acts, he moves towards liberation from the cycle of successive births and deaths.

Contrariwise, if one’s deeds are evil, he will move further from liberation. The determining factor is one’s karma. The cycle of births, deaths and rebirths could be endless. The goal of the Hindu is to achieve enough good karma to remove him from the cycle of rebirths and achieve eternal bliss.

Samsara

Samsara refers to transmigration or rebirth. It is the passing through a succession of lives based upon the direct reward or penalty of one’s karma. This continuous chain consists of suffering from the results of acts of ignorance or sin in past lives. During each successive rebirth, the soul, which the Hindus consider to be eternal, moves from one body to another and carries with it the karma from its previous existence.

The rebirth may be to a higher form; i.e., a member of a higher caste or god, or down the social ladder to a lower caste or as an animal, since the wheel of karma applies to both man and animals. Accordingly, all creatures, both man and beast, are in their current situations because of the actions (karma) of previous lives.

The Caste System

The caste system is a unique feature of the Hindu religion. The account of its origin is an interesting story Brahma created Manu, the first man. From Manu came the four different types of people, as the creator Brahma determined. From Manu’s head came the Brahmins, the best and most holy people. Out of Manu’s hands came the Kshatriyas, the rulers and warriors. The craftsmen came from his thighs and are called Vaisyas. The remainder of the people came from Manu’s feet and is known as Sudras. Therefore, the structure of the caste system is divinely inspired. The Brahmins are honored by all the people, including the royal family. Their jobs as priests and philosophers are subsidized by the state and involve the study of their sacred books.

The Kshatriyas are the upper middle class involved in the government and professional life, but they are lower in status than the Brahmins. The Vaisyas are the merchants and farmers below the Brahmins and Kshatriyas but above the rest of the population in their status and religious privileges.

The Sudras are the lowest caste whose duty is to serve the upper castes as laborers and servants. They are excluded from many of the religious rituals and are not allowed to study the vedas.

The caste system became more complicated as time went on, with literally thousands of subcastes coming into existence. Today the caste system is still an integral part of the social order of India, even though it has been outlawed by the Indian government.

Swami Vivekananda gives the rationale for the caste system:

Salvation

Salvation, for the Hindu, can be achieved in one of three ways: the way of works, the way of knowledge, or the way of devotion.

1. The Way of Works. The way of works, karma marga, is the path to salvation through religious duty. It consists of carrying out the prescribed ceremonies, duties and religious rites. The Hindu believes that by doing these things he can add favorable karma to his merit. Moreover, if he does them religiously, he believes it is possible to be reborn as a Brahmin on his way toward liberation from the wheel of karma.

The performance of these practices is something non-intellectual and emotionally detached, since it is the mechanical carrying out of prescribed laws and rituals. A basic concept in Hinduism is that one’s actions, done in sincerity, must not be done for gain but must be done unselfishly.

2. The Way of Knowledge. Another way of achieving salvation- in the Hindu sense -is the way of knowledge. The basic premise behind the way of knowledge is the cause of human suffering based upon ignorance. This mental error concerning our own nature is at the root of mankind’s problems. The error in man’s thinking is this: man sees himself as a separate and real entity. The truth of the matter, Hindus say, is this: the only reality is Brahman, there is no other. Therefore, man, rather than being a separate entity, is part of the whole, Brahman.

Selfhood is an illusion. As long as man continues seeing himself as a separate reality he will be chained to the wheel of birth, death and rebirth. He must be saved from this wrong belief by the proper understanding that he has no independent self. This knowledge is not merely intellectual but experiential, for the individual reaches a state of consciousness where the law of karma is of no effect. This experience comes after much self-discipline and meditation. The way of knowledge does not appeal to the masses but rather to an intellectual few who are willing to go through the prescribed steps.

The Way of Devotion. The way of devotion, bhakti, is chronologically the last of the three ways of salvation. It is that devotion to a deity which may be reflected in acts of worship, both public and private. This devotion, based upon love for the deity, will also be carried out in human relationships; i.e., love of family, love of master, etc. This devotion can lead one to ultimate salvation. The Bhagavad Gita is the work which has devoted special attention to this way of salvation. This path to salvation is characterized by commitment and action.*

The Sacred Cow

From early times the Hindus revered the cow and considered it a possessor of great power. The following verses from the atharva veda praise the cow, identifying it with the entire visible universe:

Hinduism and Christianity a comparison

A comparison between Hinduism and Christianity shows the wide divergence of belief between the two faiths.

On the subject of God, Hinduism’s Supreme Being is the undefinable, impersonal Brahman, a philosophical absolute. Christianity, on the other hand, teaches that there is a Supreme Being Who is the infinite-personal Creator. The God of Christianity, moreover, is loving and keenly interested in the affairs of mankind, quite in contrast to the aloof deity of Hinduism.

The Bible makes it clear that God cares about what happens to each one of us. “And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me” (Psalm 50:15 NASB). “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NASB).

The Hindu views man as a manifestation of the impersonal Brahman, without individual self or self-worth. Christianity teaches that man was made in the image of God with a personality and the ability to receive and give love. Although the image of God in man has been tarnished by the fall, man is still of infinite value to God. This was demonstrated by the fact that God sent His only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die to redeem sinful man, even while man was still in rebellion against God.

The Bible says, “For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6

Common Beliefs of hinduism

The common beliefs underlying all schools of thought in Hinduism are beliefs concerning

· the evolution of the physical world

· the law of karma and rebirth

· the four-fold goal of human life

The four-fold goal of human life is the

1) Purushharthas – Dharma (Righteousness)

2) Artha (Worldly Prosperity)

3) Kama (Enjoyment), and

4) Moksha (Liberation)

Beliefs of Hinduism

Hindus believe in many gods and goddesses. Some of them are human (e.g. Krishna, Rama, some animals (e.g. fish, monkey, rat, snake), (some animal-humans as in the case of Ganesh who has the head of elephant with trunk and the body of a human), and some others are natural phenomena (e.g. dawn, fire, sun). Their number is generally believed to be 330 million. According to Hinduism beliefs, god incarnates, i.e., takes the form of human being and other animals and appears in this earth in that form. Gods and goddesses were born like human beings and had wives and children. No god possesses absolute power; some of the gods are weaker than the sages and some others even weaker than the monkey (e.g. Rama).

Another aspect about Hindu gods is that the status of their godhood is not fixed. One finds that some gods were worshipped for a time and then abandoned and new gods and goddesses were adopted instead. The gods and goddesses worshipped now-a-days in Hindu homes and temples are not Vedic. The Vedic gods like Agni (fire), Surya (sun) Usha (dawn) are completely rejected and the gods and goddesses mentioned in the Puranas are worshipped by modern Hindus. Similarly, Rama who is currently receiving increasing acceptance among Hindus in India because of the wide propagation of the official and other media was never worshipped as a deity until the eleventh century

Hinduism’s complexity stems from the many forms of three primary deities: Shiva, Creator and Destroyer of all Existence, Vishnu, Protector or Preserver of the Universe and Shakti, the Divine Feminine. Each sect views its deity as the “Supreme Personified Godhead,” surrounded by a mythology that includes the texts, rituals and social and cultural observances. Depending on their needs, worshippers may appeal to many different deities, but all acts of devotion have the common goal of summoning the universal.the above facts clearly explains the sacred elements of Hinduism and beliefs of Hinduism.

New York Church with miracles?

I am looking to find a church in New York that preaches on God’s grace and more specifically has many healing and supernatural happenings in it’s services and without. A church that believes in the laying on of hands to stir the Holy spirit and tongues. A church that focuses on walking in a relationship with Jesus. I don’t want a church that just has good preaching and shouting with no real power. It could be in the bronx, harlem or manhattan. Thanks in advance and let me know if the church has a website too:). I am in an impossible situation(health, financies, spiritual) and I need a miracle. But i also need a church where it’s not too big and fellowship is great and the focus is walking with Jesus and not trying to master the next new hit doctrine or law to success.

Have you ever considered the reason you have so many problems and no solutions is because you’re relying on a miracle ‘Big fix’ instead of facing reality? If you spent more time dealing with your problems instead of going on wild goose chases you may find some resolution.

Using A Qualified Treatment Program For Addiction Treatment In Wisconsin

Addiction is a very serious and a progressive disease. It needs to be attended to as soon as detected, or else it can become very dangerous. If someone in your family is detected of addiction of any substance, getting him the best available treatment is the most important. You will find a number of different programs for addiction treatment in Wisconsin, some specializing in drug treatment, some in alcohol treatment.

Depending upon the level of the patient’s addiction and the type of his addiction, you must choose the correct treatment program. But choosing a qualified program from the many available options for addiction treatment in Wisconsin is very important. Choosing an unqualified program is as bad as giving no addiction treatment to your loved one. Let us study in brief why it is necessary to choose a program which is qualified over others.

But first let us see what a qualified treatment program is. Here is a look at what a program on addiction treatment in Wisconsin entails.

A qualified treatment program is the program which is affiliated with the state authorities and that the program meets the criteria provided by the state health authorities Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Institute of Drug Abuse and the National Clearinghouse. These are the common criteria used all over the United Nations. The different states have the right to add certain criteria depending on the different situations in their state but the basic criteria remains the same nationally. A list of the qualified treatment programs for addiction treatment is available on the federal substance abuse websites.

One finds a lot of other treatments programs which are based on spirituality and faith based healing and even religious programs for abuse treatment in Wisconsin which are not recognized by the state as a qualified treatment. And hence a person cannot enjoy the benefits the state provides to all the qualified treatment programs in Wisconsin.

The Benefits of a Qualified Treatment Program in Wisconsin:

1. Low affordable cost:

The qualified treatment programs are mostly conducted in the treatment centers which are affiliated by the state. Hence most of the treatment centers receive funding from the state. Thus a qualified treatment program will be very cost effective here and would be much more affordable.

2. Sense of security:

A qualification by the state for a treatment program for addiction treatment means more value. This means the people of Wisconsin or any nation are able to trust the treatment and bring their loved ones who are addicted to a substance without worrying about the quality of the treatment centers. An addiction treatment in Wisconsin is recognized as a qualified program after it has been approved by medical experts and professionals.

3. Benefits from Insurance companies:

The insurance companies also cover treatments only for a qualified addiction treatment in Wisconsin. As the programs are affiliated to the state, the insurance companies trust them and are assured that the treatment centers are will be strict in their admission procedures. Thus if you choose a qualified treatment program in this state, you can be sure of your claims being settled by the insurance company. However, the same cannot be said for the unqualified treatment programs.

The major difficulty:

With the number of advantages, there is also a disadvantage with choosing a qualified treatment program. As the addiction treatments are gaining more awareness and benefits from the state authorities, the number of families wanting to put their loved ones into a qualified treatment program are also on a high. Thus one may find it difficult to admit an addicted person in the desired treatment centers as they will have a long waiting list for patients. These waiting lists can go on from several weeks to several months, differing in each treatment centers. This can be frustrating.

On the other hand, with the amount of increasing patient, the professionals may find it a bit taxing to keep individual tabs on everyone. With the long waiting list, the treatment centers may also reduce the individual time given to relax after the detoxification treatment. There is always a possibility of the quality of the doctor’s input going down with the increasing work load.

Here, those people who sort external help, that is the help of an interventionist for the smooth sailing of their entire treatment programs, have a little advantage. These intervention professionals have a partnership deals amongst them. Due to this, the treatment centre reserves some quota of seats for patients who come to the centre through the interventionists.

Metaphysical Development & Disciplines Part 1

The Need for a Guru

In the spiritual, metaphysical path, various disciplines and exercises are conducted to aid the awakening and the unfoldment of the faculties and virtues of the divinity within. To attune with the Higher Self, one is required to undergo the process of purification and to carry-out meditative exercises. Meditation, concentration, visualizations, chanting, esoteric rituals, and other spiritual disciplines are utilized as aids on the path of spiritual and metaphysical development. In order to tread the metaphysical path a spiritual teacher or Guru is indispensable as a way-shower. The Guru or Adept having been on the spiritual path for many years, or for the greater part of his/her life, or even for several lifetimes is qualified to guide the enthusiastic aspirant. Treading the spiritual path alone without outside assistance and guidance is a difficult task. Only a few great souls are able to do this. However, it should be noted that according to tradition and occult revelation, even great souls like Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad had Guru-Chela relationships with Spiritual Masters, both physical and non-physical. External spiritual preceptors are here to “push” or motivate the aspirant, just as the inner divine Master is present within our beings to “pull” us inwards, to help us gravitate towards the Inner Light.

Learning from books has its disadvantages; firstly, one is unable to bask in the presence of a Guru. A genuine Guru radiates powerful energies that stimulate slumbering souls in his immediate vicinity. The Master’s aura prompts the energy-level of those around him to step-up in frequency. By constantly being in the presence of a Guru one gradually transforms one’s microcosmic vehicles to a higher expression. One accelerates spiritually by being in the proximity of a Spiritual Preceptor. It is like a magnet that induces iron bits to become magnetized just as it is simply by the association.

Secondly, books do not provide all of the keys or knowledge necessary that would open metaphysical doorways to higher worlds or to higher states of awareness. Many keys are omitted in books. Thirdly, books hardly present a two-way interaction that a Guru-Chela relationship offers. From these three points (and there are more) it can be seen how necessary it is to have a Way-Shower. Genuine spiritual/metaphysical teachers are not easily found or met. One meets a real Spiritual Guide partially because of spiritual merit. There is an occult saying, “When the student is ready the Master appears.” The student has to prepare himself for the Master’s advent by attaining a certain soul-level, by spiritual works and study. It should be realized, however, that those individuals passing themselves off as Spiritual Gurus and Metaphysical Masters are hardly what they claim themselves to be. Here lies the problem for the occult tyro–how to discern the true Master from the “false prophet,” or the wolf in sheep clothing and the true Shepherd of the Spirit.

In the traditional teachings of Christianity we are told that St.Peter, one of the Apostles of Christ, guards the portals to the Kingdom of Heaven. He holds within his hands various keys that would unlock the gate and allow the soul to pass the threshold and enter into a world of heavenly delight, to a land where one could pluck and eat the fruits of the Tree of Life. The average Christian interprets this teaching literally. In truth, this is merely an allegory, an esoteric precept referring to the principle that a Spiritual Guru or Murshid, (St.Peter) is necessary to guide one’s spiritual development. The Spiritual Guru holds and preserves the keys of metaphysical (mystical/magickal) development. By applying the keys (the cosmic laws and spiritual principles) that the Guru transmits to his disciples, it would be possible to acquire a spiritual consciousness (the Kingdom of Heaven) and consume the fruits of the Tree of Life (a constant awareness of one’s immortality).

In the early days of Christianity, “priests” functioned as Gurus and not merely as preachers. In the centuries that followed, the priesthood lost the keys to Heaven because of their corruption and degeneration. They subsequently grew envious of those that did possess the keys, the gnosis or spiritual, esoteric knowledge. This was one of the factors that instigated the attack of the orthodoxy upon the Christian sects called Gnostics. These Gnostics were the custodians of the secret, esoteric, spiritual teachings of the Essenes, the Master Jesus and the other divine avatars.

Now it should be realized that not all Spiritual Gurus are of the same evolutionary level. They are of various initiatory grades. Some Gurus offer their services specifically to the masses, to the average person on the street; others are here on the physical plane to help higher-evolved persons, or those of disciple status to attain the first and second planetary initiation. Rarely do we find Gurus who are real Adepts and Masters guiding those who have heard the call of the soul to attain liberation, enlightenment, and the ascension. Each person who is interested in metaphysical and spiritual culture will find himself at the doorstep of the Guru most appropriate to his present state of soul development. When he grows spiritually to a certain point with the guidance of his Preceptor, he may eventually find himself being led to other Gurus of a higher grade or different ray-ashram for further esoteric instructions or for developing a different soul-quality..

Metaphysical Development

In the Path of metaphysical development it would be advantageous and worthwhile for the spiritual aspirant to study the spiritual teachings of various religions and philosophies. Anything that would help refine one’s soul-character and expand one’s metaphysical knowledge is beneficial. The student should be equally comfortable studying the teachings of Alchemy or Zen. By the exploring of various teachings we do not imply that one should build one’s spiritual philosophy upon the foundation of syncretism. This would hardly work if we strive to integrate the superficial, dogmatic aspects of religion. What we would like students of metaphysics to probe is the essence or core of religions, back to the source of all religions, or to the Gupta Vidya–the Ageless Teachings. In the Old Testament, for instance, we were admonished by God to walk the ancient paths (Jeremiah 6:16). This “ancient path” is an esoteric term for the Ageless teachings, or the Ancient Wisdom. Followers of the “New Age” movement may consider the revelations received through the phenomenon of “channeling” as something novel; however, the essence of what is revealed is nothing new and is to be found in the spiritual teachings of all ancient cultures. We admonish the novice not to focus on or speculate too much upon what lies above in the cosmos. It really does not matter what or who lies “up there,” whether it is “Ashtar,” “Kryon,” or the “Pleaidians,” or any other beings flitting around in their merkabah vehicles; what really matters is what lies within you. Pay attention to that, to the task at hand. Improve your character, your spirituality, your evolutionary status, and your awareness. Unfold unconditional love and compassion. Beware of self-complacency and arrogance, thinking that you know everything, or more than others.

The first step of spiritual unfoldment is the purification of the lower aspects of the microcosm of all psychical and physical toxins, negative energies, psychological complexes and fixations, karmic effects, record, and memory; and the transcendence of the false ego. Not only should these unwanted energies be discarded or transmuted, the spiritual aspirant should also be vigilant that they no longer be generated by the mind and emotions or attracted into the microcosmic force-field by establishing a point of attraction through negative thinking and feeling. Conversely, the aspirant should strive to express the divine qualities of the Spirit, such as compassion, tolerance, affection, beauty, order, generosity, selflessness, etc. In Patanjali’s Yogic philosophy these two steps are called Yama and Niyama. They comprise the dos and the don’ts in religious moral teachings.

According to Patanjali’s metaphysical system of development, breathing and physical exercises should next be conducted to maintain healthy and vital bodies. These are called Pranayama and Asana, respectively. Pranayama actually means the control of the life-force within the physical/etheric body, and not to the control of the breath as some occultists would have us believe. Asana means “body-position.” In Hatha yoga we are taught various asanas to help maintain a supple, healthy, vital body. Although beneficial to a certain degree, in our metaphysical system of development we do not stress Hatha yoga too much for this form of yoga actually belongs to the Lemurian Age (the Third Race) where physical cultivation was the basis of spiritual unfoldment. In the days of Atlantis (the Fourth Race), it was Bhakti yoga that was of certain importance, for it helped cultivated the emotional nature. In our present Aryan Age (the Fifth Race), Raja yoga is indispensable for it aids in the development of our mental nature. Metaphysical development should therefore, be concentrated more upon the mental/spiritual plane for it is the most appropriate for our present Soul-Race. Below is a tabulation and clarification of the above information:

1) The First Race — Polarian – No yogas, involutionary race.

2) The Second Race – Hyperborean – No yogas, involutionary race.

3) The Third Race – Lemurian – Hatha yoga, related to the physical/etheric principle.

4) The Fourth Race – Atlantean – Bhakti yoga, related to the emotional/astral principle.

5) The Fifth Race – Aryan – Raja yoga, related to the mental principle.

6) The Sixth Race – Unknown – Yoga unknown, related to the Buddhic principle.

7) The Seventh Race – Unknown – Yoga unknown, related to the Atmic principle.

But to return from our digression:

Following Pranayama and Asana is Pratyahara, or the withdrawing of the senses from external stimuli. This act of withdrawing the senses results in Dharana, a deep concentration upon some inner point within the consciousness. Deep and intense concentration of a lengthy period establishes the state of Dhyana, or meditation. The culmination of the Dhyana-state is Samadhi, or a higher form of consciousness where one experiences the state of bliss and peace. There are various consciousness levels in Samadhi; for simplicity sake we may designate them as “Christ Consciousness” and “Cosmic Consciousness.” The former is related to the Soul-Consciousness of the Higher Self, or the threefold aspects of the Soul–the Higher Mental, Buddhi, and Atma. The latter on the other hand, is related to the Spirit-Consciousness of the Monad, the Divine Spark within the microcosm. The eight steps of the above are often called the “Eight-limbs of Patanjali.”

In metaphysical development we strive to attain ever higher states of consciousness or awareness. In mystical teachings this is often illustrated as a climb towards a mountain peak and we are often advised by mystics to climb the highest mountain. In Holy Scriptures, when the tale is told of mystics “going up” to the mountains to pray and meditate actually refers to an inner ascent in the consciousness and not to an actual physical journey.

In the early stages of metaphysical development it is advisable for the neophyte to introspect and reflect upon the various elements forming his present desires, motivations, ideals, attitudes, beliefs, and feelings–all of the psychological stuff forming his world-view, his belief-framework, his religious-view, and his understanding of life as a whole, as well as its purport. There is much that we take for granted, much that we assume to be true because humanity as a whole or certain groups of humanity have believed in them for centuries. We have been taught many things as “truths” by our elders, our religious leaders, and pedagogues and we accept them at face value without any meaningful effort in reflecting whether they are of any real substance whatsoever. This the neophyte has to rectify first and foremost in his consciousness. The beginner in metaphysical development has to know why he is on the physical plane and for what Cosmic purpose. He has to discover the meta-philosophical truths concerning life and death, and the real reason why he embarks upon metaphysical study. In short, the neophyte has to awaken himself from his ignorance at the first Cosmic level. Until he realizes that in his present condition he knows nothing, the neophyte has not yet arrived at the state where he may acquire true knowledge.

Metaphysical development entails getting rid of the demons of the mind, the idols that drains one’s energies. Idols are not simply statues made of wood and stone; they may be anything at all. Idols at our present stage of soul-unfoldment are glamours and illusions of the psyche. We may define idols do be anything that distracts the soul from carrying-out its evolutionary obligations. Thus, television or the obsession of psychic powers may be considered as idols, and irresponsible Gurus teaching psychicism sans spiritual unfoldment as fabricators of idols. This in fact is one of the avenues of dis-service (dark services) offered by the Fallen Angels. In Islamic tradition Harut and Marut were the two Fallen Angels that taught humanity psychicism/occultism irresponsibly. Low-calibre paranormals and metaphysicians perpetrate this shameful tradition.

Nowadays, people who are interested in psychicism are so eager to unfold paranormal powers. It should be realized that this is not a spiritual goal, because sometime and somewhere along the spiritual path psychic powers would have to be renounced as they simply blind our inner eyes to the spiritual state of Light-Consciousness, symbolized by the saviour-gods in the world mythologies. Psychicism prolongs our needless stay in the lower dimensions. Psychic powers may corrupt the human soul.

Getting rid of or destroying idols is not an easy task. In order to do this we need the help of the Christ-Krishna force, or the light of Muhammad. Invoke their power into your lives; pay more attention to their presence until the intrusion of the demonic idols lose their power and hold over you. In the end you will truly become a holy one, unattached and untainted by anything of this world–”to be in this world but not of it.”

So you are learning Magick and you want to find real spells, but what is a spell? Can anyone cast a spell? Is it like Harry Potter where I just say a few funny words, wave my wand around and “poof” what I want appears? Of course not. But there are spells out there that really work.

We need to define, what is a spell? Dictionary.com defines a spell as “a word, phrase, or form of words supposed to have magic power; charm; incantation: The wizard cast a spell; a state or period of enchantment: She was under a spell; any dominating or irresistible influence; fascination: the spell of fine music.” So a spell is words (and actions) used to focus energy to influence a desired result.

We need to understand, what is the difference between white Magick and black Magick? White Magick spells use positive energy while Black Magick spells use negative energy to accomplish the result. It is the intent of the caster that determines if the energy gathered is white or black. If you are attempting to control the free will of someone else, then black Magick is your intent. It is important to remember the Wiccan Threefold Law: Whatever is cast, returns to the caster threefold.

We need to determine, what type of spell will give us the results we desire? There are many types of spells including love, protection, money, success, health, confidence, focus, or revenge.

We need to research, where do we look for spells? There are lots of resources to find spells.

Google: Searching online web pages for spells can be daunting because you have to sift through all the junk spells that offer outrageous claims. Plus, there are so many sites that are only trying to sell you their services while offering nothing practical.

YouTube: You can find real spells on YouTube and what is even better is that many videos show you the steps for the spell. But there is also a great deal of misleading titles or descriptions that turn out to be advertisements.

Bookstores: There are many good bookstores that offer spell books like Barnes and Noble or Borders. They offer a pretty wide variety. Online bookstores like Amazon.com offer everything but if you are like me, you want to peruse the book first to see if it contains the spells that you are looking to cast.

Metaphysical shops: Hit or miss on finding good spell books. Some shops are mega stores with everything you could possibly need to practice Magick while others are specialty shops with limited space for spell books.

Libraries: Many public libraries have good selections but of course, you have to return the books at some point. Some public libraries have video sections where you might find spell casting demonstrations.

We need to know, can anyone cast a spell? Yes! Anyone can cast a spell. The only requirement is that you truly believe the spell will work. Your belief is what gathers the energy required to cast the spell. The spell itself is a tool to focus that energy to accomplish the result that you desire.

Tater practices Magick and Tarot cartomancy in Phoenix, AZ. He has been studying spell casting and other forms of Magick and is sharing his knowledge to the world. His search for real spells continues with more articles to come.

spiritual healing magazine

The “Sermon on the Mount” has often been called “the constitution of Christianity because in it Jesus deals with those things that distinguish His gospel from every other religion. In referring to the law given through Moses and the prophets, Jesus often used the term, “You have heard that it was said to them of old time,” but then would add, “but I say unto you”. His teaching was different, drastically different. The “change” that Jesus makes is really very simple. Instead of just imposing a command that deals with the deed, He teaches that we must control our attitudes that lead to those deeds.

The Lord taught us the rudiments of bearing the right spiritual attitude and of living a peaceful life by telling us to love other people as we love ourselves! It is the Lord’s desire that we love not only those who keep His commandments but also that we should make Him manifest to them. The disciples misunderstood Him, thinking that He meant a public manifestation so that the world would realize who He was. But what the Lord had in mind was very different. He wishes that His children reveal the hidden beauty of His Person to those who keep His commandments, enabling them to know Him in a very special way. This fact alone should be sufficient to encourage us to keep the Lord’s commandments.

But there are even greater promises that depend on our obedience to Him. If we keep His Word, both the Father and the Son will take up their abode in our hearts. This is exceedingly precious and glorious. Through the working of the Holy Spirit all who keep His Word will enjoy this privilege of having the Father and the Son abiding in them.

The expression, “My Word”, which is often used by the Lord, is not synonymous with “My Commandments”, as we find it in other areas of the Bible. The latter expression refers to the Lord’s authority, whereas His Word comprises all that Jesus has said. Every single saying of His is precious and important to those who love Him.

On one occasion Jesus said that the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart comes forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railing, etc., which things are the things that defile the man.

In other words, it is the attitude that determines the action, because as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Let us learn to keep our attitudes right and when we do, our actions will equally be right. And if our life is to be pleasing to God, we must have our attitude right. Our attitude must be right, not only about specific acts, but about the fundamental things of Christianity.

Heard in a metaphysical bookstore,’ Im a pagan I dont pray,’ I do what about the rest of you magickal people

Prayer for Fall
Mother of Creation, thank-you for your bounty. All around the earth has grown to maturity. So too, I pray, may I see the signs of my own maturity. Help me to recognize the progress in my spirit, to see the fruits of character and insight that have developed since spring. Let me me hold these gifts close to my heart as sacred and special.
As I move into fall, teach me balance. Let me know the wonders of both sounds and silences, rest and action, the temporal and spiritual. As i walk the Path of Beauty, keep my eyes on the horizon, but my feet grounded in truth. So Be it
Patricia Telesco
I pray every day, i was talking about what a complete stranger was heard saying..PAX

WHAT IS IT TO BE A PAGAN THEN THAT ONE CANNOT ASK THE DEVINE FOR ASSISTANCE AND GUIDANCE THROUGHOUT THE TURNING OF THE YEAR AND THE CYCLE OF THE SEASONS – ALL DEVOTIONS ARE PRESENTED FROM THE HEART AND SOUL AND SPIRIT – TO ASK FOR GUIDANCE IN ANY THING IS TO PRAY – ERGO – PAGAN, DRUID, WHATEVER FAITH TOU HAVE HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF AND PRAY HOWEVER, WHEREVER AND WHENEVER YOU ARE IN NEED- PRAISE BE TO ALL

Gemini (May 22–June 21): Inspired Communicator & Curious Butterfly: Birthstone: Tourmaline/Green Tourmaline, Part 2

Welcome to the second part of my article about the specific metaphysical qualities of the Green Tourmaline, one of the true birthstones of Gemini.

Astrology and Gemstones

Astrological principles manifest at all levels of creation, from the largest bodies in the cosmos to the tiniest particles of atoms—all are part of the same network of universal energy. Based on the hermetic principle “As above, so below,” those universal principles allow us to read relations among the planets and extrapolate those principles to things here on Earth, to events in our lives, as well as to our natural environment. The universal principles that govern the planets are also seen on the much smaller level of gemstones, crystals, and metals.

The Signature of Gemstones

Each gemstone is associated with specific planets. You are already aware that each planet has its own personality in astrology. And each gemstone has a personal “signature”—specific metaphysical qualities, different for each stone, that arise from the stone’s association with its planets.

How to Make Gemstones Work for You

By considering the individual signature of gemstones, you can select the right gems for very specific purposes, according to their astrological qualities.

Gemstones can be used in three different ways:

  1. They are precious objects of beauty that may hold a special meaning for us. We enjoy their beauty by giving them a special place on a shelf, desk, or altar.
  2. They can be used in meditation by tuning into their frequency for the purpose of balancing our energy field.
  3. They can be made into jewelry pieces for our pleasure, enhancing our individual expression of beauty and sense of empowerment.

You can learn more about the metaphysical properties of gemstones through my book Jewelry and Gems for Self-Discovery at http://www.JewelryandGemsforSelfdiscovery.com In my book I teach you how to find your true birthstones based on your horoscope. Below you will find a description of Green Tourmaline one of the true astrological birthstones for Gemini.

Green Tourmaline: The Perfect Stone for Balance and Harmony[1]

Tourmaline is a large family of beautiful stones that occur in every color of the rainbow and many different combinations of two-colored stones: pink-green (Watermelon), pink-blue, golden-green, and green-blue, for example. Each color has its own name, but often they are simply called by their color, such as pink Tourmaline for Rubellite, blue Tourmaline for Indigolite, and green-pink Tourmaline for Watermelon Tourmaline. Tourmalines are available as facetted or cabochon cut stones, with some of the cabochons displaying a cat’s eye.

Today most Tourmalines come from Brazil, Sri Lanka, Angola, Australia, Burma, India, Thailand, and the United States (California, New York, Connecticut, and Colorado).

This is a fairly hard stone with a Mohs’ hardness of 7 to 7 ½. It has a hexagonal crystal structure. The rough crystal wand (a long spike) may be used in jewelry without polishing or cutting it because of its natural beauty. Cut slices of a crystal wand can be found in beautiful and unique color combinations. These make especially nice pendants and earrings.

One of the unique properties of Tourmaline is its piezoelectrical charge: when the crystal is heated or pressure is applied to it, it becomes electrically charged, giving it the ability to attract dust or small bits of paper. Because of this quality the Tourmaline is the best stone for our nervous system. It acts on the electrical flow within the body, balancing it and restoring the mind-body system and particularly the brain to proper working order.

Green Tourmaline occurs in several different color variations, including a warm green tone, similar to a Peridot, and a dark bluish tint.

Like all green gemstones, the green Tourmaline balances and regulates the physical heart. It calms the nervous system and helps us to relax and regenerate after long illnesses. Its frequency is similar to that of other green things in nature: it connects us with the soothing green balm of the rain forest and quenches our longing to be enveloped and replenished by Mother Nature.

Green Tourmaline is associated with the planets Venus and Jupiter. Geminis need all the help they can get from both of those planets. Venus, the Roman goddess of beauty and love, will bring Geminis balance and harmony, sensitivity, and high ideals and personal standards. Jupiter offers Geminis a large dose of ethics, morality, and social conscience and calls them to think more deeply about the meaning of life.

I hope you enjoyed this perspective of mine and the beautiful world of gemstones in your life!
